The pattern is a for my Thistledown crochet winter hat with a pom pom.
The pattern is designed for intermediate crocheters.
You will need:
Yarn - approximately:
DK: 225m/246 yards (100g), with a 4.5mm/ Size 7 Crochet Hook
4Ply: 200m/218 yards (50g), with a 4mm/ Size G Crochet Hook
My favourite yarns to use are: • 100% Merino hand dyed Aran/DK/4Ply by any indie dyer that you like • Stylecraft Special DK • Sirdar Country Classic DK or 4 Ply • Any other DK or 4Ply yarn would be fine. For any other yarn weight, measure the head and adjust as required.
