The Crafty Bird 2024 Advent Calendar - A Musical Christmas - Screen Weekly Advent

The Weekly theme this year is Screen Musicals - ones that I have seen and loved in their movie version. The 4 Musicals I have picked for inspiration are:

• The Greatest Showman
• Once
• Moulin Rouge 
• Chicago

Have a look at the photos on the listing for colour inspiration. The weekly advent will be designed as a fade so that all the colours merge into each other. They will all be a complex variegated colour. Do have a look at social media if you'd like to examples of last year's colours that have worked in this way!

The Screen Weekly Advent Contents:

• 4 x 100g skeins of hand dyed yarn
• Some little extras (these will be different from the daily Advent)

Individually wrapped and numbered, and presented in a luxury box. 

There are 7 base options for the calendar:

• Cosy Sock - 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon - 425m per 100g
• Cosy 4 Ply - 100% Superwash Merino - 400m per 100g
• Gold Sparkle Sock -  75% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon, 5%  Gold Stellina Sparkle - 400m per 100g
• Tweedy 4 Ply - 85% Superwash Merino, 25% Donegal Nep, 400m per 100g
• Cosy DK - 100% Superwash Merino - 225m per 100g *Please note this base is different from the DK base in the daily advent*
• DK Silver Sparkle - 75% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon, 5% Silver Stellina Sparkle - 212m per 100g
• Tweedy DK - 85% Superwash Merino, 25% Donegal Nep, 212m per 100g

There will be some fun surprise Musicals themed extras based on the screen musicals in this advent! They will all be handmade/hand finished by me or another small business.

There will also be a Spotify playlist full of musical songs to play in December.

There are 2 options for payment:

Pay in Full - payment for the advent taken in full upon ordering

Pay in Instalments -  3 instalments - £30 due upon ordering (plus shipping), and 2 further instalments of of £30 and £25 on 30th June and 31st August. Please make sure you supply me with your correct email address, so that I can invoice you correctly if you are paying in instalments.  In the event that these instalments are not paid, the advent calendar will not be supplied and the initial deposit will not be refunded.

All calendars will be shipped in late October/early November ready to open on 1st December. International Orders will be shipped earlier to ensure they arrive in time. 

If you change your address between ordering and receiving the calendar, it is your responsibility to ensure I know - please email me on thecraftybird22@gmail.com and your address will be changed. 

Advent's are not included in the free shipping offer. 

There will be no returns or refunds available on the advent. 

All items are packaged in eco friendly and recyclable materials. As little as possible single use plastic is used in any of the packaging or posting materials - any used is biodegradable or recyclable (depending on your location). Please do recycle or reuse where you can!

Colours in each skein will vary slightly due to the nature of hand dyed yarn. If using more than one skein it is recommended to alternative the skeins on each row to alleviate the differences.

Hand washing in cold/lukewarm water with a wool wash is recommended for this yarn (or machine washing on a cool wool wash). Colours may run slightly on the first washing but this is normal. Do not tumble dry!
